Who is The Mortgage Warehouse (GB) Ltd ?
The Mortgage Warehouse (GB) Ltd has developed a reputation for arranging effective and economical mortgages and loans for a wide range of clients throughout Britain. We believe in arranging your mortgage or loan with the minimum amount of fuss and bother, and at an economical cost. We will handle all paperwork for you, and will deal with all others involved in the process on your behalf. We are licensed by the Office of Fair Trading under the Consumer Credit Act and authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority. Reg No 302014

We pride ourselves in achieving obtaining the best mortgage for you, taking into account your personal and financial circumstances at the date of application, and the mortgages on offer in the market place as a whole. We are not linked to and do not represent or favour any particular mortgage lender above any other. We work for you, not the lenders.

Provision of Information
We will provide you with information relevant to your mortgage needs, including an explanation of the main relevant repayment methods available. During the initial discussions with you, your consultant will complete a detailed mortgage questionnaire. This will be used to ensure that we provide you with appropriate advice concerning your mortgage and related insurance requirements. Once we have made our recommendations to you, we will confirm our advice in writing. You should keep this letter safe, as it will be an important record of our discussions. Details of the loan recommended will be confirmed in the lenders formal offer documentation.

Duty of Privacy I Data Protection
We will treat all your personal information as private and confidential except where we are required by law to disclose, or disclosure is made at your request or with your consent in relation to arranging your mortgage. You have a right of access under the Data Protection Act 1984 to your personal records held on our computer files and these will be made available to you at your request.

Telephone 023 8022 6045. If you cannot settle your complaint with us, you may be entitled to refer it to the Financial Ombudsman Service 8.

Are we covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS)?
We are covered by the FSCS. You may be entitled to compensation from the scheme if we cannot meet our obligations. This depends on the type of business and the circumstances of the claim. Mortgage advising and arranging is covered for 100% of the first £30,000 and 90% of the next £20,000 so the maximum compensation is £48,000. Further information about compensation scheme arrangements is available from the FSCS.
