A three-year tracker with a 75% to 90% LTV set at 6.99% with a £1,499 fee will now be set at 6.75% with a £999 fee.
Jerry Figueroa-Lee, Operations Director at The Mortgage Warehouse, commented: This move is not unexpected and brings Halifax's rates inline with other lenders tracker rates. With increases in fixed rates this week with a number of lenders and the recent rise in swap rates, we expect to see a number of other lenders following Halifax's move.
