New Mortgage Rates from Northern Rock

Northern Rock announced further reductions in some of their mortgage interest rates. The new rates became available on Monday 11th August and continue the trend in recent weeks of the gradual decline in mortgage rates for those with a large amount of deposit or equity.

The new rates consist of a two year flexible tracker rate from 5.79% with a £1,995 product fee, a two year flexible fixed from 5.89% with a £1,495 product fee and a five year flexible fixed from 6.19% with a £1,495 product fee. In addition, new ten and fifteen year flexible fixed rates are offered from 6.29% with no product fee, offering long term peace of mind at a sensible price.

All loans are available for those who wish to borrow up to 75% of the value of their property, with a free valuation and free legal fees being offered for remortgages. Northern Rock continue with their practice of offering a slightly higher rate of interest for those who would rather not pay a product fee, and this can be especially good value for those with small mortgages.
