Buyers in a good position

Potential homebuyers have been advised that now is a good time to invest in property.

Miller Homes believes that buyers can land themselves a bargain in the current climate.

The global credit crunch has caused something of a wobble in the UK housing market, meaning property prices are relatively low.

With this in mind, buyers can take advantage of the market and buy a property at the price they want to pay.

"People may think it's currently not a good time to buy, but when prices are at their lowest and good buying packages are offered, it's actually the perfect time to move home," said Joy Goodman from Miller Homes.

"It's so easy to forget that the property market has proven to be the best investment in recent years.

"House prices have risen consistently. Above all the talk of values and investments most people move because they want a better house in a nicer location," she continued.

Assetz recently revealed that UK house prices increased by 0.7 per cent in February.
