Mortgage Express (part of Bradford & Bingley PLC) no longer provides new Equity Release mortgages after Bradford & Bingley's Nationalisation. For those with an existing Mortgage Express equity release lifetime mortgage recent changes will not affect your mortgage and it's terms and conditions in any way. You continue to owe the same amount to Mortgage Express / Bradford & Bingley under your mortgage as you did before, and you should continue to make your monthly payments as usual.

However Equity Release Lifetime Mortgage rates do change, and so it may be worthwhile reviewing what other equity release schemes are available, and whether there are any lifetime mortgages that are more competitive.
